TURNKEY FINISHING SYSTEMS
1 Multistage washers chemically clean and pretreat the product surface to prepare for either liquid or powder paint applications. Washers are furnished with fully welded housing and heavy-duty stainless steel tank covers and heat exchangers. These standard features help reduce maintenance and enhance long-term appearance. Other standard components include directional solution flow baffles for heat transfer efficiency, recessed access doors and sprager pipe assemblies in all chemical tanks for ease of cleaning.
2 Dry-off ovens remove the rinse water left by the cleaning operation. Depending on the application, dry-off ovens are positioned in the system layout for variable part presentation temperature to the painting operation. Ovens come standard with 4” thick aluminized sheeted insulated panels, high volume recirculation fans and low velocity air curtains
3 Depending on the application requirements, liquid paint booths, dip tanks or complete powder coating systems can be incorporated into the system design.
4 Cure ovens operate at up to 500º to cure a variety of coatings. While the basic design of the cure oven is similar to a dry-off oven, even temperature from top to bottom becomes a more critical factor in delivering a uniformly cured powder.
5 Conveyor systems are available in a variety of designs from light-duty monoplane systems to multi-level power and free applications with either floor or ceiling support structure. Conveyor systems come standard with variable speed electronic controls.
6 The ovens incorporate a two-stage approach for powder applications. When possible, a preheat tunnel is used prior to the part entering the oven to help set the powder and free the oven of contaminated powder blown off by air seals or internal air turbulence. Optional cool-down tunnels placed at the exit of the cure oven are also available to present a cool part to the unload station.
